“The Royal Academy of Police” and “Legislation and Legal Opinion" sign a Memorandum of Scientific and Legal Cooperation
Pursuant to the approval of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Academy of Police under the Chairmanship of Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of the Interior, In accordance with the Minister's directives to enhance cooperation with advanced institutions to support educational and training programs, On Wednesday, the Academy signed a memorandum of understanding with the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission, stipulating that it work on consolidating the bonds of scientific and legal cooperation within the framework of exchanging experiences and intellectual enrichment through effective participation at the academic, training, and applied professional levels.
It was signed by General Tariq bin Hassan Al-Hassan, Chief of Public Security, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Royal Academy of Police, and Counselor Nawaf Abdullah Hamza, president of the Legal Legislation and Opinion Commission. The Chief of Public Security confirmed that the directives of the Minister of the Interior serve to strengthen the Academy's scientific standing and provide it with advanced expertise as reflected in the educational and training programs provided, adding that the Memorandum of Understanding is in the context of the need to strengthen cooperation and implement joint projects.
The Memorandum of Understanding affirms the parties' seek to benefit from the legal and practical expertise of both parties through constructive cooperation that will enrich the legal and police work system in both scientific and practical terms, as well as support cooperation on the side of academic training with an applied dimension, facilitate communication between the parties for the exchange of information and knowledge in the legal field, especially in the field of training, and create a theoretical and applied information base aimed at disseminating research, articles and legal comments. which would spread the culture of legal awareness in our contemporary Arab world in general and in the Arab legal and policing community in particular, in an era of legal cultural globalization.
